The Greeks again found their way into the festival in form of Dimlight. The band around front woman Sanna Salou had two albums with them ("Obtenebrations" and "Psychosynthesis") from which a nice cross section was played. She was supported by Nick on guitar, Peter on drums, whereas Nick not only was playing the guitar but also the grunting counterpart to Sanna.
That was overall nothing new but done quite professional. Sanna swirled across the stage encouraging the audience on and on which directly went with her. The riffs were harder compared to the former bands and also the heads and arms were waving way more through the air. Something funny was the Kylie Minogue cover "Confide In Me" whereas of the former pop version nothing remained after putting it through the metal grinder. But otherwise the setlist was composed quite nicely.
Although it was nothing overwhelming the show was making a lot of fun especially as the band was radiating a lot of energy. That was really needed at the audience as the day was just half the way round. The large headliner were still waiting in front of us.

- Master Of Our Fate
