Great newcomer and terrific old hands

Due to sickness the Thursday of Wacken Open Air 2018 took unfortunately a little bit longer. But now all of the pictures and reviews of that day are online. It was a nice cross section through the landscape of music starting with newcomer like the Metal Battle winner Die From Sorrow or the third-place finisher Motanka, across better known bands like Oomph! or Vince Neil up to the top bands like Behemoth and Judas Priest.
That had something for everybody from music style point of view no matter if it were the more calm songs of Mötley Crüe performed by Vince Neil bringing you back into the good old times and inviting you to sing along or the brutal death metal force of Behemoth rolling across the field. Only at Judas Priest it was a pity to have to see that singer Rob Halford meanwhile has physically quite heavy degenerated. Otherwise it was a really great Judas Priest show and especially Halford knew to cast a spell across everybody with his voice.
I hope that you like the pictures and the pictures and reviews of the Friday will be the next to come, where you can look forward to a smorgasbord with Amorphis, Children Of Bodom, Clawfinger, In Flames, etc.
