Already two times I had seen Delain live and both times they were not really bad but on CD way better. Especially front woman Charlotte Wessels provided quite bad performances in the past but also the other band members remained quite pale on stage.
Ewoud Pieters, the new one on guitar, did his job in my opinion better than his predecessor and also Charlotte had improved vocally significantly. Additionally the band was really in a good mood and took the audience with them. With hits of both albums like "April Rain" or "The Gathering" there was played a nice cross section. Additionally the band was enhanced by grunter George Oosthoek during three songs.
Overall a really great and the best Delain concert I had experienced up to now.
