Whilst I shortly changed my clothes to get across the cold evening Edguy had already started on the True Metal Stage. That was why I had to stand some more at the outside of the crowd what is also reflected in not so perfect looking pictures.
The band I did not know before but they provided quite good power metal. Tobias Sammet knew excelently to integrate the audience and so at the crowd there was a quite good atmosphere when hits like "Speedhoven" or "Vain Glory Opera" were fired into the audience. Also the well known games with the people were rising it and so it was quite a pitty when with "King Of Fools" unfortunately the end of this terrific gig came.
In my point of view Edguy was one more highlight of the festival and so I will for sure also be with him when he is again at Wacken next year with his project Avantasia (by this he was already known by me).
