Originally, Legend was supposed to play in the next slot. However, they had to cancel their performance at short notice, so Beborn Beton stepped in. This was a rare opportunity to see them live, as they rarely perform in their home country. But with the new album "A Worthy Compensation" in tow, it was a great chance to present the new songs to a live audience.
Back in 1989, the three guys Stefan Netschio, Stefan Tillmann, and Michael B. Wagner came together to make electropop. After a brief intro, they took the stage and started with "24/7 Mystery", a new song. Otherwise, they played older material from the albums "Nightfall" from 1996 and "Truth" from 1997. Unfortunately, not many seemed to want to experience this rare moment, as the crowd in front of the stage was quite manageable. After some initial reluctance, the audience became more engaged, which led to the band relaxing. The predominantly faster numbers invited people to dance, and the mood became very lively by the end.
For stepping in spontaneously, Beborn Beton delivered a really good show. The songs were good and varied, inviting people to dance. It was a really enjoyable experience that could have lasted longer.
