17.10.2009 Krypteria
Metal Female Voices Fest VII
Oktoberhallen Wieze (Belgium)
Before the festival it has been uncertain if the German/Korean band Krypteria would perform at all because the whole tour had been canceled. The reason for this was guitarist Chris Siemons having heavy issues with his back. But thank god (and some painkilling syringes) they were able to go onto the stage at Metal Female Voices Fest VII.
The show has really been one of the day’s highlights. At the beginning, Ji-In entered the stage in a white wedding dress and she slowly started stripping during the opener “Shoot Me” to finally continue the rest of the concert in a black corset and leather trousers.
That was already a great opening carrying also the audience away. The great interaction of Krypteria with the audience led the vibes to the maximum. That also supported Chris who although having still pain in his back wasn’t able to stand calmly on his position. So, there can only be one simple conclusion: a lot of energy, great voice, very good vibes = thumbs, sorry, horns up!
