Originally, at that slot the band Seasurfer should be playing but due to personal reasons they had to cancel on short notice. As substitute the Bottrop band Pre/Verse spontaneously stepped in. The electro-rocker mixed different sound elements what made it to a very attractive mixture.
Directly in the beginning the catchy sounds of their sole released album “Obstacles” took the audience with them. Due to that singer Kai Schwenkler, guitarist Hilger Tintel, keyboarder Dae Joon, bassist Neila Fynn and drummer Andrease Schmitz did not have much to do to get the hands of the crowd up into the air and make them start moving. It was very varied: distorted keyboard, hard drums, rocking guitars and a funny stage setting made this gig to something very special (to this probably also the inflatable flamingos contributed that were thrown into the audience. By that everyone was slowly on working temperature and did not take offense at the band that due to the short time that their slot offered the communication with the audience and announcements were simply skipped. Unfortunately, the crowd was still quite negligible. What a pity as this band would have deserved more attention.
