Great start into the final Blackfield Festival

Today, for the start of the year, I have something very classic that I finally managed to finish. The photos of the Blackfield Festival at the Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen have been slumbering in my archive since 2015. It was my first and, unfortunately, only time there because it was the last edition. Due to rising costs, the organizers were unfortunately no longer able to continue the festival with the usual quality, so they decided to discontinue it.
Nevertheless, there was a great cross-section of the black scene, starting with electronic bands like Spetsnatz to metal bands like Lord Of The Lost or rockier medieval sounds of the headliner Subway To Sally. Unfortunately, the weather didn't fully cooperate, but it didn't dampen the good mood in the audience. Today, we'll start with the bands from the first festival day back then. The next two days will follow shortly.
